\"\"<\/a>Stratosphere Networks, a Chicago-based IT managed services provider, has been named as a finalist<\/a> for Crain\u2019s Best Places to Work 2017. The company is also a finalist for the list of 10 Best Places to Work for Minorities in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Stratosphere was also included<\/a> on the annual list last year: We were number four on the 2016 Best Places to Work for Women Under 35 list. Additionally, we were named number five on the 2015 Best Workplaces for Millennials list.<\/p>\n

The Crain\u2019s Best Places to Work list has been expanded this year to include 25 companies, while in previous years it listed 10. Crain\u2019s has also chosen to focus this year on businesses that \u201cboast significant numbers of happy employees who self-identify as members of a minority group.\u201d The winners for Best Places to Work and Best Places to Work for Minorities in Chicago will be announced on April 6.<\/p>\n

The annual list from Crain\u2019s is based on surveys of company representatives and employees covering factors such as benefits, pay, promotions, health care, vacation time, management, and career development. According to Crain\u2019s, the companies it recognizes as the best each year \u201cnot only offer the top benefits and compensation packages but also get rave staff reviews on everything from sponsored training to free snacks.\u201d<\/p>\n
