\"AWith Thanksgiving coming up, it\u2019s time once again to reflect on the technologies we\u2019re grateful to have at our disposal. Like 2020, this has been another busy year filled with new challenges \u2013 such as combating ransomware attacks<\/a> and setting up hybrid offices<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on 2021 so far, here are a few technologies to be thankful for this year.<\/p>\n

1. Extended detection and response (XDR)<\/h2>\n

As cybercriminals continue to cook up increasingly sophisticated malware and hacking strategies, advanced detection and response capabilities have become vital for organizations of all sizes. XDR combines solutions such as SIEM, network detection and response, and endpoint detection and response to increase visibility across your IT environment and facilitate faster threat identification. 2. Zero-trust network architecture with secure access service edge (SASE)<\/h2>\n
