Forrest Hendrix is the manager of information technology for Stratosphere Networks and Converged Communication Systems (CCS). He began his tech career in 2018 with a Chicago-based managed IT service provider, taking calls and generating support tickets in an intake role. From there, he advanced to the level of technician, handling a large volume of tickets from customers across 12 states and serving as the primary tech for a large dental client. At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, he also received a quarterly values award for electing to be the only on-site technician at the IT service provider’s headquarters.
After the MSP was acquired in 2021, Forrest briefly assisted with cloud solution support requests for a Chicago-based hybrid IT and enterprise cloud provider. He joined the Stratosphere/CCS team in October 2021, starting as a hybrid support and infrastructure engineer and working his way up to his current position. As IT manager, he assists with the resolution of telephony support issues, responds to incoming call requests, and oversees internal infrastructure and data support. Additionally, he contributes to decisions that affect Stratosphere’s overall direction as a company.
Outside of work, Forrest is an avid home cook and baker. He loves the excitement of trying out a new recipe and concocting culinary creations for his friends and family.
