Stratosphere Networks helps businesses bypass the traditional sales process and quickly identify leading Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), customer experience (CX), digital transformation, business process outsourcing (BPO), managed IT and cybersecurity solutions.

Our story began in 2003 with the launch of Converged Communication Systems (CCS), our sister brand. Co-founders Steve Melchiorre and Kevin Rubin met working in the telecommunications space selling Avaya and had a vision of establishing an organization focused on delivering white-glove services. CCS continues to handle unified communication and telecom projects, in addition to providing implementation and managed services (including managed telephony).

Because of those initial years spent focused on telecommunications, our team has extensive UC and contact center expertise. Stratosphere Networks got its start in 2010. Until 2021, we delivered managed services – including managed cybersecurity, managed IT and comanaged IT services – and trusted advisor services from our state-of-the-art Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center in Evanston.

In 2021, Ascend Technologies acquired our managed IT and security services division. We continue to provide IT consulting and advisory services.

Because we provided managed services for all of those years and still do, in addition to offering managed IT services for 11 years, our team members have direct experience with a wide range of solutions.
