Core Values

After our leadership team heard author and business management expert Patrick Lencioni speak at a conference, they were inspired to read his book "The Ideal Team Player" and provided copies to everyone on staff. The book had a major impact on us, and we agreed to base our core values on Lencioni’s thesis that the ideal team player is humble, hungry, and smart – adding accountability and expanding "smart" to specify emotional intelligence (EQ).

These are the essential qualities we look to foster in our current team members and seek in prospective employees. People with these characteristics have the emotional intelligence and teamwork skills necessary to help our company maintain an exceptional level of service.

Higher purpose statement

At Stratosphere, we believe in setting aside our own interests to give back and contribute to the greater good. The community service we perform doesn't just help the people we serve but also enriches our lives. It allows us to expand our focus and remember there's more to life than just work and material things. To quote Bryan Loritts, the lead pastor of Abundant Life Church in Silicon Valley, "I've never seen a U-Haul truck at a cemetery."

Our commitment to serving others goes beyond providing strategic IT consulting services. We recognize the importance of giving back to the community that supports us by showing compassion and extending a helping hand to those in need. We support many charities and communities across the country, although we pay special attention to the Chicago area, particularly when it comes to volunteer efforts.
