CHICAGO - Kevin Rubin, president and COO of Stratosphere Networks, will speak to a group of students from the IT Club at Wilbur Wright College on Friday, May 11 at 10:15 a.m. at the CompTIA Worldwide Headquarters in Downers Grove, IL. Rubin will speak as a representative of the IT industry at the event, which is hosted by Creating IT Futures, a charitable organization established by CompTIA.
Creating IT Futures aims to create on-ramps for people to prepare for and succeed in IT careers. It's the leading charity of CompTIA, the world's largest IT industry association. Wilbur Wright College is City Colleges of Chicago's Center of Excellence for IT and an educational partner supported by Creating IT Futures through a grant from the Chicagoland Workforce Funder Alliance.
Rubin is an executive council member of the CompTIA Managed Services Community, a group of industry leaders that that provide guidance on programs, education, and research offered by CompTIA. He will answer the students' questions and provide advice on securing a career in IT.
