CHICAGO - Stratosphere Networks, RapidScale and 8x8 will co-host a "sip and learn" event on Wednesday, August 21 focused on moving securely to the cloud. The seminar will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the AVANT BattleLab in downtown Chicago.

During the event, representatives from the Chicago-based IT managed services provider Stratosphere Networks, the leading cloud communications solution provider 8x8, and RapidScale, a Cox Business company, will address how managed and comanaged cloud solutions can address businesses' IT security requirements. The event will include refreshments, vendor presentations, a Q&A and networking.

Attendees will hear from the following speakers: Kendra Karczewski, an enterprise technology advisor for Stratosphere Networks; Patrick Marsala, channel sales engineer for 8x8; Tim Peterson, national partner director for RapidScale; and Jason Roberts, partner experience manager for RapidScale.
