ITA

ITA membership: Stratosphere Networks is a member of the Chicago-based Illinois Technology Association, a not-for-profit organization with a focus on scaling tech companies in Illinois. Since 2013, the ITA has concentrated its energy on growth-stage tech companies. The organization offers its members access to connections that can lead to new business/partnerships/workers, resources for locating and retaining top talent, and visibility via published work on the ITA blog and in the group's newsletter.

CompTIA Managed Services Community membership: Kevin Rubin, the president and COO of Stratosphere Networks, serves on the executive council of the CompTIA Managed Services Community, a group of technology industry leaders ranging from managed service providers to managed service vendors to IT industry thought leaders. In addition to promoting best practices to advance the managed IT services industry, the group offers guidance and leadership concerning the programs, education, and research from CompTIA, a non-profit trade association for the IT industry headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois.

We've participated in Chamber events such as The Exchange, a tradeshow attended by hundreds of professionals and exhibitors for the purposes of networking and discussing modern business success.

Giving Back and Volunteering

Lawrence Hall

Lawrence Hall Board membership and volunteer work: Steve Melchiorre, CEO of Stratosphere Networks, is a member of the Board of Trustees for Lawrence Hall, a Chicago-based social services organization that has helped abused and neglected youth and their families in the Chicago metropolitan area for more than 150 years. We make monthly donations to the organization, and we've also taken part in volunteer efforts to support Lawrence Hall, such as hosting a holiday gift drive.

Interfaith Youth Core

Interfaith Youth Core sponsorship: The company has supported the efforts of Interfaith Youth Core (headquartered in Chicago) to foster discussion about how people of different faiths can find common ground as they engage in civic life.

Autism Speaks

Autism Speaks support: We've backed the annual Chicago Chef's Soiree hosted by New York City-based Autism Speaks to benefit children and families struggling with autism.

Alliance of the Great Lakes

Meals on Wheels participation: On the first Wednesday of each month, we deliver for Meals on Wheels Chicago, an organization that aims to promote independence and improve quality of life for homebound seniors and people with disabilities.

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare sponsorship: Stratosphere Networks has sponsored the annual Rockin' for Recovery fundraiser hosted by Chicago-based Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare to raise funds to help people with mental illness secure housing and buy food and medicine until they get access to entitlements.

Global Leadership Summit

Global Leadership Summit support: We make monthly donations to the Global Leadership Summit, an annual two-day leadership training event that takes place at the Willow Creek Association campus in South Barrington, Illinois every August. International Justice Mission support: We make monthly donations to IJM, a global organization headquartered in Washington , D.C. that focuses on human rights and combats sex trafficking and slavery.
