    • Teams meeting recap
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is introducing a new Teams meeting recap feature that will consolidate the meeting chat, recording and transcript in one location. Recaps will be viewable in the Details tab and automatically shared in the Chat tab.
    • Teams lobby setting allowing only invited users to directly join
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is implementing a new Teams lobby setting that will only allow Calendar meeting invited users to directly join. This feature is meant to give meeting organizers more control.
    • Meet Now button in Outlook
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is adding a Meet Now button in the Outlook desktop client for Windows, simplifying the process of launching a Teams meeting.
    • Aggregated Service Health views in Microsoft 365 admin center
      • What’s happening: To help admins with delegated administration privilege relationships for managing multiple tenants, Microsoft has introduced aggregated views of advisories and service health incidents across all managed tenants.
    • Suggested communities on Yammer home page
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is implementing suggested communities in the right rail of the Yammer home page, in addition to enhancing the pinned conversation experience.
    • On-the-go SharePoint list access
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is introducing the Microsoft Lists app for iOS. This new application will allow users to access SharePoint lists from anywhere and at any time.
    • Touch Bar Teams meeting control for MacBooks
      • What’s happening: End users with MacBooks will soon have access to Touch Bar Teams meeting controls – including turn camera on/off, mute/unmute, open/close chat panel, and more.

Updated Features

    • Updated user activity report metrics in Microsoft 365 and Teams admin centers
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is updating meetings-related metrics to provide clearer insights.
    • Microsoft Information Protection: Renamed data classification confidence levels and new customization options
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is renaming the match accuracy or confidence levels of data classification from a numerical scale to three levels (high, medium and low). The supplier is also introducing the ability to customize built-in classifiers via the Microsoft 365 compliance center.
    • Updates available for Current Channel for Microsoft 365 Apps
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is rolling out updates to Microsoft 365 Apps to the Current Channel.
    • More Open Graph object info in Yammer data exports
      • What’s happening: Microsoft is making changes to how they export info related to Open Graph objects when exporting Yammer messages.

    • Updated rollout timeline for Windows 10 native Teams notifications
      • What’s happening: Microsoft previously announced the introduction of Windows 10 native notifications for Teams. To ensure the best possible user experience, the supplier has delayed the deployment of this feature.
