Microsoft 365 News 10-28-2021: Teams Meetings to Add Co-Organizer Role

      • What’s happening: Microsoft has announced a public preview of Cloud Site List Management for IE mode for Microsoft Edge.
    • Microsoft Teams co-organizer role
      • What’s happening: Organizers will soon have the option to assign a co-organizer role to as many as 10 people per meeting. Co-organizers will have many of the same capabilities as the organizer, such as presenting, locking the meeting, bypassing the lobby, and ending the session for all participants.

        • What’s happening: A public preview will soon be available in which Communication Compliance will show as an option within DLP policy recommendations.

    • SharePoint site creation experience
      • What’s happening: Microsoft plans to enhance the site creation experience for SharePoint end users. Planned improvements include more extensive site descriptions, better graphics, and additional context for various permission levels within the Site permissions panel.

      • What’s happening: Microsoft previously announced in February 2021 that clients had the option to temporarily disable the SharePoint app bar until October 31, 2021. The supplier has decided to extend that window in which you can temporarily disable the app bar until March 31, 2022.
