In Microsoft Office 365 news this week, Microsoft announced plans to implement live transcripts for Microsoft Teams meetings. Additionally, Office Scripts will soon become available by default, and Outlook Android end users will gain the option to sync with a local device calendar database, among other news and updates.

Announcements
- Yammer Groups API endpoints to end support for Yammer OAuth tokens
- What’s happening: Effective Dec. 1, 2020, Yammer Groups API endpoints will no longer support Yammer OAuth tokens. Instead, endpoints will support Azure Active Directory (AAD) tokens. As a result, Microsoft recommends switching to utilizing Microsoft Authentication Library (MAL) and AAD tokens with the Yammer API before the end-of-support date.

- What’s happening: Microsoft previously announced the implementation of proof of disposal for records and rolled the feature out for SharePoint and OneDrive. However, to ensure the best possible user experience, the supplier has delayed the deployment of this feature for email records in Exchange.

- What’s happening: Microsoft previously announced plans to support list sharing in To Do between personal accounts and work or school accounts. The supplier then paused the rollout to make changes based on client feedback. At this point, Microsoft is ready to resume the deployment.
